Hey Guys C:
Haha, today's message was about hearing God's voice by some unknown rich Christian Minister. Well at least he seems rich, big house, big car, driver lol.
Haha, well in case you guys missed any points, I'll summarise C:
-There must first be a desire to hear.
-We must know God's will for our life.
-Hearing God is not a gift nor does it depend on who we are.
-We must practise.
-Practise = spending time with Him, reading, memorising and applying His word to our lives.
-As Jeremy (Not me, I wish) shared on Friday, we have a body, soul and spirit.
-The spirit hears from God while the soul only distorts.
-Therefore, whatever, we hear from others, or think we hear from God, we must cross-reference with the bible.
-Prophecy must be double-checked with God's nature when we are both giving and receiving. For example, God would not place fear in us, OTHER than the fear of God. Prophecy is for encouragement and repentance, not to create fear in us.
-Lastly, sometimes God allows up to experience unsolvable problems in order to make us turn to him.
-In such situations, He will speak to us clearly, usually more than once and through various mediums. For example, as said by the preacher, eagles.
Haha, other than that, we should be meeting for FOP this Friday unless Anthony is unable to get the tickets. In that case, we may have cell outing C:
