What is Worship?

Worship is PERSONAL. A time when you set aside yourself from every other things(distractions) to seek God's face
9 Points on Worship
1. God is the FOCUS
- Not the people around you
- Not about your issues in life
2. HEART'S ATTITUDE
-Attitude motivates our actions
-From the INSIDE to tangible evidence(ACTIONS)
3. Results from a RELATIONSHIP
-You cannot express love to someone You don't know
-You will want to spend time with someone You love; wanting to spend time with God
4. Vertical Expression to God

-GIVING GOD OUR BODY, EMOTION, MIND, HEART
5. Worship Goes beyond the SONG
-From worshipping with the song to letting the song come from Your Heart
-Sing Your Heart's Song to God
6. Worship Is a LIFESTYLE
Ephesians 6:5-7
-How do You live Your lives everyday?
- Worship is everyday, every minute You live Your Life
7. Worship is SPIRITUAL
John 4:23
-Our Spirit connects with God (SPIRIT)
-Meaning what we sing (TRUTH)
8. NOT about feeling good at the end of it
-If we worship God to get something from Him rather than to give something to Him, we make Him our SERVANT and not our LORD
-Giving God Reverence
-Thanking Him
-Glorify Him
9. NOT affected by our BAD CIRUMSTANCES
Hebrews 13:15 - Offer to Him a Sacrifice of Praise
- When we don't feel good yet we praise Him, we SACRIFICE our Emotions to PRAISE HIM
Psalms 34:1 - I will Bless the Lord at all Times
